Students considering a career in law can meet with an attorney to discuss their career goals and to gain practical insight into the legal profession. The attorney will act as a mentor to the student to help ensure their continued professional development in the legal field.
The student can arrange to observe the daily operation of the office and to sit in on client consultations with any of the program’s attorneys. The program allows students unique access to four different attorney perspectives and experiences in an applied, professional law setting.
In order to participate, we require the student to sign a confidentiality form whereby the student agrees to keep the clients’ confidences in the utmost secrecy, pursuant to Florida Bar rules. The client participants must also agree to the observation.
