Biography
Yong was born in Daegu, South Korea, and grew up in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando from when he was seven years old until moving to Gainesville to attend UF for college. He has resided in the Gainesville area ever since. Yong is a double Gator, and after graduating from UF Law he has worked as a criminal prosecutor in Florida for five years and then as in-house counsel for a private equity group in town for three years, dealing with almost every type of civil law issue during that time. He has a legal background in both criminal and civil law and utilizes his legal experience as well as his experience during his six years as a UF student to help current UF students in any way that he can. In his off time, he loves to root for his Gators and his hometown team, the Orlando Magic.
